Why Small Damage Matters
A chip can expose the underlying surface to moisture and contamination. Cleaning and repairing the area promptly is a sensible part of ongoing paintwork maintenance.
Use the Vehicle Paint Code
For the best chance of a factory-style colour match, identify the vehicle's paint code and order the appropriate colour rather than relying only on a visual sample.
Prepare Before Touching Up

Apply the Right Amount
Build the repair with controlled applications and allow the product to dry or cure as directed. Avoid creating a raised blob of paint that will be difficult to level later.
